As Director of Policy, Gillian supports clients’ legislative, regulatory, and procurement priorities through targeted research, strategic analysis, and data-driven insights that inform our government relations strategies. She has built extensive relationships with legislators and key staffers, demonstrating a strong capacity for intelligence gathering.

Recently named to the 2026 City & State 40 Under 40 Rising Stars, Gillian brings years of experience as a journalist and producer. As a Digital Producer at the Times Union in Albany, she spearheaded high-impact campaigns such as the Women@Work newsletter while managing news content, community initiatives, and social media strategies.

Gillian has covered the NYS Legislature and Executive Chamber as a Capitol Reporter for New York StateWatch. This experience sharpened her ability to distill complex policy issues into compelling, accessible content and provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the policymaking process.

Gillian holds a B.A. in Journalism from SUNY New Paltz and a B.A. and M.A. in Economics from the University at Albany, SUNY. She lives in downtown Albany and is an active community volunteer, serving as VP of Communications for the Junior League of Albany
