Sara Castelli serves as Director of Government and Community Affairs for New York City and Long Island at Statewide Public Affairs. In this role, she manages relationships with government officials, community leaders, and key partners to advance client priorities and drive impactful public policy and regulatory outcomes.

With a background in government and political campaigns, Sara brings a deep understanding of legislative processes, stakeholder engagement, and community-based advocacy and organizing. Her experience includes working within New York City Council and New York State Assembly, where she developed a strong foundation in constituent services, public policy, and intergovernmental affairs. Additionally, over the past several years, she has played key roles on highly competitive political campaigns, contributing to strategy, operations, and stakeholder coordination in fast-paced, high-stakes environments, ultimately delivering wins for her clients.

Sara is known for her ability to build meaningful coalitions, navigate complex political environments, and deliver results that align public, private, and community interests. She plays a critical role in shaping advocacy strategies, strengthening local partnerships, and ensuring clients are effectively represented across New York City and Long Island.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with a minor in Sociology, from Hofstra University. Born in Capri, Italy, and raised in Connecticut, Sara brings a unique perspective to the Statewide Public Affairs team.
