Outdoor Dining in Phase Two

Today Governor Cuomo announced that outdoor dining will be allowed in Phase Two of the reopening process. The regions currently in Phase Two, the Capital Region, Central New York, the Finger Lakes, the Mohawk Valley, the North Country, the Southern Tier and Western New York will be allowed beginning tomorrow to reopen for outdoor dining. All outdoor tables must be at least six feet apart, all employees are required to wear face masks and customers must wear facemasks whenever they are not seated at their table. Full guidance on this has yet to be published.

Governor Cuomo on Law Enforcement

Today Governor Cuomo clarified his statements from yesterday where he took umbrage with the New York Police Departments ability to handle the riots and looters. He indicated that the issues he was referring to were not with the policed officers themselves but with the management of the officers.

New York State COVID-19 Numbers Thankfully, we are now firmly on the far side of the COVID-19 plateau in New York State. That said, the number of deaths in the State has increased by 49 since yesterday.
